Kubernetes Authentication

KubeAuth.io is the new form of authentication of every application running in Kubernetes.

Key Features

Add an authentication in minutes

No coding

KubeAuth.io needs no code. All is done by configuration.

Easy installation

The installation is done in seconds and is immediately usable in your environment.

Extremely fast

The authentication is done in some Milliseconds. You do not notice KubeAuth.io.

KubeAuth.io is taking over the authentication of your users

KubeAuth.io is an extremely fast Reverse Proxy which validates the authentication content of all requests reaching your application.

Validates the authorization of a user

Every request has an authorization header, mostly a JSON Web Token generated by a identity provider like Keycloak, Okta, AWS-Cognito ... .

Forward only authenticated request to your application

KubeAuth.io forwards only request with valid credentials. There is no need to add additional code in your application to validate the authorization.

KubeAuth.io is running in Kubernetes only. Every Kubernetes POD gets its own Reverse Proxy as a sidecar. But you have the full control to add the Reverse Proxy or not.

KubeAuth.io is running in Kubernetes as a sidecar

With the creation of your Kubernetes Pod the KubeAuth.io-Sidecar will be added automatically if you want it.

Full control to add the Reverse Proxy

Just add a simple flag to your Kubernetes Pod in a Manifest or via HELM and the Pod gets its personal reverse proxy.

KubeAuth.io is working with all identity provider which supports OAuth 2.0 or OpenId Connect (OIDC). It does not support own identity provider capabilities.

Works with OAuth 2.0 or OpenId Connect (OIDC)

We support all identity provider which are supporting OAuth 2.0 or OpenId Connect (OIDC). It does not matter if the System is cloud native or is running with your own setup.

Works with all common identity provider

Common identity provider KubeAuth.io is working with are OKTA, Keycloak, AWS-Cognito ...

KubeAuth.io is focussing in authentication and request handling to reduce the complexity of the tool. This is the main difference bewteen KubeAuth.io and a Service Mesh like ISTIO.

Reduced complexity

Service Meshs provides functionality which is suitable only for large scale Kubernetes cluster with a lot on applications running in it.

Authentication and request handling

KUBEUTH.io is focussing on the problem, that most of the applications needs an authentication layer for their applications. This must be done for all applications by all development teams. KubeAuth.io reduces the efforts.

Test KubeAuth.io for free

Install our Demo and test the functionality in your own Kubernetes cluster or Minikube. No registration needed.
